| The
Willow Farm team were delighted to welcome back the
fantastic horse behaviourist Richard Maxwell for an
afternoon demonstration on Sunday 25th April. "Max"
worked with three horses from our own yard during
the afternoon - Indie, Drago and Sky - focusing on
different training aspects from bringing a young
horse back into work through to slowing the pace and
fine-tuning the balance of a rather keen mare!
The audience really enjoyed the
friendly and relaxed approach that Max brings to
horsemanship plus of course his stories of life in
the Household Cavalry and working with the world's
best show jumpers and racehorses!
During the interval, we raised
some much needed funds for
Megan, our latest rescue
horse, via a raffle. We look forward to welcoming
Max back to Willow Farm in the autumn. Watch this
